On October 23, 2016, 25-year-old Jose Flores was fatally shot inside the CC Nightclub, located at 1201 Bessemer Road in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred at approximately 9:04 AM following an argument concerning a woman. Walter Alonso Martinez-Chandias, a Honduran national, was arrested and charged with Flores's murder.
