On October 23, 2016, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a shooting occurred on Upper Panola Road in Highland Home, Alabama, resulting in the death of 33-year-old George Michael Watson from Carbon Hill. The incident also left Stephanie Elizabeth Lawley injured with a gunshot wound to her back.
