In the fall of 2016, the life of 33-year-old George Michael Watson was tragically cut short in a violent encounter in Crenshaw County, Alabama. A resident of Lapine, Watson was fatally wounded by gunfire on the evening of Monday, October 24, 2016. The incident also resulted in injuries to a female companion who was with him at the time.
