On July 29, 2022, 24-year-old Darrius T. King of Madison, Alabama, was fatally shot. Following the incident, 18-year-old Timmie Dewayne Thomas Jr. was arrested and charged with murder.
Darrius was born on December 16, 1996. His funeral service was held on August 7, 2022, at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at King Cemetery.
