On November 12, 2014, 42-year-old Arun Noble of Athens, Alabama, was fatally shot at the Mountain Lodge Apartments on Shelton Road in Madison. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., when Noble was shot multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
