On April 14, 2021, 29-year-old George Wheeler was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. Police responded to the 5900 block of Oakleigh Road just before 2:00 PM, where they found Wheeler with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed that Wheeler and 35-year-old David Lamont Boyd knew each other and had been involved in an altercation prior to the shooting. On April 16, 2021, Boyd was arrested and charged with Wheeler's murder. He wa ...Read More
