In the winter of 2023, a violent encounter in Montgomery, Alabama, led to the untimely death of 38-year-old Brandon Steele. On the evening of December 3rd, Steele was shot. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his wounds eight days later on December 11, 2023. His passing prompted the Montgomery Police Department to open a homicide investigation into the shooting.
