Brantley McNabb, 15, a Black male from Montgomery, Alabama, was shot and killed on the afternoon of July 10, 2025. Just after 2:40 p.m., police and fire medics were called to the 1100 block of Air Base Boulevard, a busy corridor near Gibbs Village. Responders found Brantley McNabb with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene, setting in motion a homicide investigation that drew detectives into a search for answers along a well-traveled stretch of the city.
