On October 13, 2023, 18-year-old Isaac Aney was fatally shot while driving on Casino Road in Everett, Washington. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when police received an "open line" 911 call with someone screaming for help. Officers arrived at the scene to find Aney in the driver's seat of a black Acura with a gunshot wound to his chest.
