On July 14, 2022, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Montgomery police responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of Strathmore Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Quinterrius Dean with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The following day, authorities arrested 23-year-old John Henfield Jr., also of Montgomery, charging him with Dean's murder. Henfield was subsequently placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
