Joshua Rogers, a 22-year-old Black/African American male from Montgomery, was killed on January 9, 2017, in a shooting that police later said unfolded during a robbery on Northern Boulevard. By the time officers pieced the case together, the picture they described was not of a random street killing, but of a crime gone violently wrong. Rogers was found fatally shot in the median of the 800 block of Northern Boulevard, and another adult man had also been shot during the same episode. Police said ...
