Zekhiry Hooks, a 25-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was shot and killed on the evening of November 17, 2025, in the 100 block of Courtland Drive on the city's west side, a neighborhood near Edgemont Heights and just off West Fairview Avenue.
