Death by Force

On February 5, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama, 25-year-old Akhil Sai Mahankali suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Eastern Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers and fire medics found Mahankali with life-threatening injuries; he was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
