On June 28, 2017, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Montgomery police responded to a shooting incident in the 100 block of Garden Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Curtis Vaughn, a resident of Montgomery, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Vaughn succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
