On December 19, 2021, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a shooting incident in the 2200 block of West Woodley Square, located just off Woodley Road, south of East South Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Cornelius Hall suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Hall was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The following day, December 20, 2021, Montgomery police initiated a homicide
