On the night of May 5, 2024, in Montgomery, Alabama, Katorri Martin, 37, a Black male, was shot in the 700 block of Woodrow Street, near Rosa Parks Avenue. First responders found him in life-threatening condition a few minutes before 11 p.m. and rushed him to a local hospital, where he later died.
