In the early hours of January 9, 2022, a night of leisure at the Bama Lanes bowling alley on Atlanta Highway in Montgomery, Alabama, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 21-year-old Jeffery Reed. The male victim was fatally shot around 1 a.m. following what authorities described as a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation.
