On February 8, 2021, 33-year-old Michael L. Tyes was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of Locust Street, where police found Tyes deceased at the scene.
Following the shooting, authorities arrested 21-year-old Kevin Harvey of Montgomery, charging him with murder. Harvey was subsequently held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. The circumstances leading to the shooting were not immediately disclosed by the police.
