On January 9, 2018, Charles Antwan Jones, a 25-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, tragically lost his life to gun violence. Known affectionately as "Nookie" by his family and friends, Charles was remembered as a beloved member of his community. His funeral services were held on January 20, 2018, at Peoples Baptist Church in Montgomery, with interment following at Kindle Cemetery.
