In the winter of 2018, the life of Charles Antwan Jones, a 25-year-old male, was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. On the evening of Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Jones became the city's first homicide victim of the new year. The circumstances surrounding his death pointed to a violent end, as it was determined he died from a gunshot wound.
