On January 30, 2017, at approximately 8:20 a.m., Montgomery Police and Fire Medics responded to a report of a shooting in the 1800 block of Cairnbrook Drive in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 18-year-old Jaylen Earl DeVondree Henderson, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
