On the evening of November 21, 2019, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Montgomery Police Department officers and Fire Medics responded to a report of a shooting in the 2800 block of Sixth Street in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Paul Charles Joyner Jr. inside a vehicle, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. An adult female at the scene was also found with a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.
