Joseph Ford, a 62-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 6, 2020, in what authorities later determined to be a targeted homicide. Ford, who had lived in Montgomery for many years, was found suffering from gunshot wounds after an altercation occurred in a residential area. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene after receiving reports of gunfire, but Ford was pronounced dead at the location.
