On September 18, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Montgomery police responded to reports of a shooting in the 4300 block of Nordale Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Donyale Taylor suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Shortly thereafter, a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot injury, also linked to the Nordale Drive incident, arrived at a local hospital.
