In the summer of 2014, a family dispute in Montgomery, Alabama, escalated to a fatal conclusion, ending the life of 24-year-old Richard Davis. On Friday, June 20, 2014, an argument between Davis and his cousin, 30-year-old Davis Soles, turned violent. The altercation resulted in the shooting death of the younger man, leaving a family torn apart by the tragic event.
