On April 22, 2017, 25-year-old Christopher Ryan Cushenberry, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 11 p.m., resulting in his immediate death. Another individual, 19-year-old Larenzo Esther, was also injured during the shooting and succumbed to his injuries on April 25, 2017.
