On April 10, 2020, the Montgomery Police Department initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery of a body in the 400 block of South Decatur Street around 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers and fire medics found 28-year-old Cortez Grayson of Montgomery lying on the ground.
