On a Halloween night in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 36-year-old Willie Davis, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On October 31, 2021, on Monticello Drive, Davis was fatally shot, becoming another victim of gun violence in the city. Remembered by loved ones as a man with a 'heart of gold' and a keen sense of humor, he was affectionately known by his nickname, 'Stank.'
