On July 23, 2023, 27-year-old Fernando Bracidicius Edwards, also known by his stage name "Lp Gotti," was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. in the 600 block of North Pass Road, near the Alabama River Parkway. Edwards was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle, where he was later pronounced dead.
