On the evening of October 21, 2021, 49-year-old Eddie Wilkerson was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. At approximately 9:45 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a call in the 4300 block of Longleaf Drive, where they discovered Wilkerson had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
