On November 17, 2016, 31-year-old Jacurtis Howard was fatally shot in the 300 block of Burgwyn Road in Montgomery, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting shortly before 1 a.m., Montgomery Police Department (MPD) officers and Fire Medics found Howard deceased at the scene. Initial investigations did not reveal the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
