Lee Carter Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 9, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:20 a.m., while Lee was standing in the driveway of a home located in the 9500 block of South Sangamon Street in the Longwood Manor neighborhood.
