Tyrone Marshall, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 19, 2018, in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of South Calumet Avenue. Tyrone was leaning against a parked vehicle and talking to a friend when another vehicle pulled up, and someone inside fired shots at approximately 3:27 p.m. Tyrone was shot in the head and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
