Timothy Jackson, 36, male, was walking near the sidewalk in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood when gunfire cracked the early evening calm. Around 6:47 p.m. on October 20, 2025, shots struck him in the head along the 2100 block of West 52nd Place. First responders and the Cook County medical examiner confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene, the block quickly cordoned off as neighbors watched detectives begin their work.
