Monte Potts, 34, male, died on May 19, 2025, after gunfire erupted inside a small business in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood around 4:10 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner identified Monte Potts, 34, male, as the man who was fatally wounded during the shooting in the first block of East 111th Street.
