Steven Winston, a 33-year-old African American man, tragically died on July 13, 2017, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Steven Winston was sitting in a parked car around 11:55 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Winchester when a handgun he had tucked in his waistband accidentally discharged.
