In the quiet residential neighborhood of Brighton Park on Chicago's South Side, a grim discovery was made on the evening of Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Responding to a report of gunfire shortly after 8 p.m., police entered a home on the 4500 block of South Albany Avenue to find two individuals who had been fatally shot. The victims were identified as 70-year-old Harry Kirkpatrick and 43-year-old Ann Kirkpatrick, who both resided at the address.
