Quoyai Shorter, a 19-year-old man from Phenix City, Alabama, was shot and killed on July 28, 2017. The shooting occurred in the early morning hours, and police responded to a report of gunfire at an apartment complex in the area. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Shorter suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
