In the festive quiet of Christmas Day 2020, a burst of violence shattered the peace in Phenix City, Alabama, leaving one man dead and several others wounded. Vincent D. Deloney, a 31-year-old male, was fatally shot at a residence located at 923 15th Place. The incident, which unfolded into a complex investigation, involved two related shootings at the same location.

Amber Long, 25, was taken into custody on the day of the shooting. Subsequently, Hernadis T. Harmon, 30, was also charged with murder in connection with Deloney's death. His arrest occurred after his release from Piedmont Columbus Regional hospital.
In connection with Harmon's shooting, investigators charged 27-year-old Jonathon Toombs with attempted murder.
