On May 25, 2018, 51-year-old James Lester Stevenson was found deceased in his home at 4133 67th Avenue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Responding to a welfare check, deputies from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office discovered Stevenson had been fatally shot.
Investigators interviewed several witnesses and identified 24-year-old Kiara Monique Harton as a suspect. Harton admitted to shooting Stevenson following an argument. She was arrested and charged with murder, with bond set at $150,000. ...Read More
