On May 14, 2024, the body of 62-year-old Russell Thomas "Rusty" Andrews was discovered at the Alcoholics Anonymous building located at 2025 Jack Warner Parkway in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Authorities from the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene, where they determined that foul play was involved in Andrews' death.
