Keith Mason Edwards, a 42-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was shot and killed on September 18, 2018, in what authorities later confirmed to be a homicide. Edwards was found in the 900 block of 6th Avenue North, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police responded to reports of gunfire and arrived at the scene to discover Edwards lying on the ground near a vehicle.
