In the summer of 2008, Quintez L. Wilson, a 34-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on July 6th. Another man, 42-year-old Antonio Lamont Smitherman, was also killed in the same incident. Sources indicate that Wilson died as a result of gun violence.
