On December 12, 2020, 29-year-old Corey Duskin was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 6:20 p.m., officers from the West Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 5909 Ellington Street in the Roosevelt neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Duskin in the driver's seat of a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported him to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
