A young man's life was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of January 25, 2025, in a violent encounter in Colorado Springs. Raymond Lee Padilla, a 21-year-old male, was found deceased in the parking lot of an apartment complex situated in the 800 block of South Union Boulevard, near Memorial Park. Padilla was not the only victim of this brutal act.
Alongside him were two other men, Manuel Alberto Villafan, who was 20 years old, and 33-year-old Nicholas Dean Medina. The incident, which left three young men dead, marked the fourth, fifth, and sixth homicides in the city for that year.
