Birmingham police this morning released the names of two men shot to death Saturday evening.

According to statements issued by Capt. Henry Irby, East Precinct officers were called to 5018 18th Ct. N. shortly before 7 p.m. to investigate a shooting.

Officers found Geraldo Gonzalez, 31, of Birmingham, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced Gonzalez dead on the scene.
