On December 20, 2018, 32-year-old Kirby Kermit Davis Jr. was fatally shot at the Panorama East Apartments in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m., with Davis found deceased inside a vehicle at the scene. Initial reports indicated uncertainty about whether he was shot while inside the car or if he entered the vehicle after being wounded.
