In the summer of 2019, the life of 44-year-old Jason Edward Tapscott, a male resident of Decatur, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On July 11, authorities found Tapscott deceased from a gunshot wound in a Southeast Decatur apartment complex. His death was investigated by the Decatur Police Department as a homicide.
