Reco Rashad Sales, a 26-year-old man from Decatur, Alabama, was shot and killed on August 11, 2017, in what authorities later confirmed to be a homicide. Sales' body was discovered outside a residence in a residential area of Decatur, where he had been shot multiple times. Law enforcement responded quickly to the scene, but despite efforts to save him, Sales was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
