On March 27, 2024, at approximately 2:16 p.m., Decatur Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 900 block of 10th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Jared Bolden suffering from gunshot wounds. Bolden was transported to Decatur-Morgan Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
