Joshua Dewayne Davis, a 25-year-old man from Decatur, Alabama, was tragically killed on May 16, 2015, in a shooting that rocked the local community. Davis was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a local apartment complex, near the intersection of 6th Avenue Southeast and 19th Street. Authorities received calls reporting gunfire in the area, and when police arrived at the scene, they discovered Davis unresponsive.
