On a Sunday afternoon in Decatur, Alabama, the lives of two men were tragically cut short. Quinton Lamon Owens, a 42-year-old male, and Codey Ray Schepp, 29, were found deceased from gunshot wounds on November 27, 2022, at the Wheeler Estate Apartments on McIntyre Lane. The discovery prompted an investigation by the Decatur Police Department, who quickly identified the two men.
